another monday

..... in the garden!

My cantaloupe has a baby fruit!Right now its about the size of a baseball, but the plant is starting to yellow and weaken. This always seems to happen with my vine fruits. Cucumbers, peas, and squashes; they've never really produced a harvest.
Does anyone have any advice or tips?

You know, we planted cantaloupe once and it wasn't until after we got one fruit that we read that you need two plants to cross pollinate. Maybe the one was just lucky. Perhaps it's your soil? There is something rewarding about growing your own food though huh? :o)
